AI Lead Qualifier

AI lead qualifier agent that handles AI lead scoring for your sales team. It scores each lead against the ideal customer profile (ICP) it reads from your knowledge base. It takes leads from HubSpot, Salesforce or a list you send it. Each score comes with a reason, written to the lead record or returned in the chat.

The problem

Sales teams stop trusting the lead score. Scoring rules are set once and go stale. Reps chase poor-fit leads at the top of the list. This agent reads the ICP from a knowledge base you write and edit when your market changes. Each score comes with a reason a rep can check.

How it works

  1. Write down your ICP

Describe your best-fit customers in a knowledge base and attach it to the agent. It reads the knowledge base and cannot change it.

  2. Connect your CRM

Connect HubSpot or Salesforce so the agent can read your leads and write the score and its reason to the lead record.

  3. Switch on web access

Turn it on when you create the agent so it can look up facts about each company.

  4. Leads reach the agent

Mention it in Slack, Microsoft Teams or Telegram with a lead or a list, in a channel it is invited to or in a direct message. Or upload a list in the chat, attach one as a knowledge base or let it read a lead list from Google Drive, Google Sheets or Notion. A scheduled run can also score new leads in your CRM.

  5. It checks the web and scores each lead

It looks up facts about each company and scores it against your ICP.

  6. You get the score and the reason

The score and its reason go to the lead record in HubSpot or Salesforce, or back to the chat, Slack, Microsoft Teams or Telegram conversation where you asked. A webhook or an MCP server you connect can send them to your own system.

What it uses

What the agent can reach

Knowledge

It scores against the knowledge base you attach, such as your ICP. It cannot change any knowledge base.

Tools

It reads leads from the HubSpot or Salesforce account you connect and writes the score and its reason to the lead record. In Slack, Microsoft Teams or Telegram it acts only when mentioned in a channel it is invited to or messaged directly, so it does not watch channels unprompted. It reads lead lists from Google Drive, Google Sheets or Notion and changes an existing document only when you ask. A scheduled run scores new leads in your CRM. It can send scores to your own system through a webhook or an MCP server you connect.

Network

It checks companies on the web. Web access is off by default, so switch it on when you create the agent.

Retention

Message text is kept for 30 days, encrypted, to measure answer quality. Keeping conversations longer is your choice.

Questions

What is AI lead scoring?

Rules-based scoring adds fixed points that someone sets by hand. AI lead scoring judges how well each lead fits instead. This agent scores against the ICP it reads from your knowledge base and the facts it finds on the web. Each score comes with a reason.

What is AI lead qualification and how is it different from scoring?

AI lead qualification checks whether a lead is worth a sales conversation before sales spends time on it. Lead scoring ranks leads by fit. Teams often use a framework such as BANT for qualification. The agent scores each lead against your ICP and gives the reason, so your team decides who to contact. BANT is not built in.

Does the AI lead qualifier work with HubSpot and Salesforce?

Yes. The agent reads leads from the HubSpot or Salesforce account you connect and writes the score and its reason to the lead record. It scores against the ICP in your knowledge base, not against your CRM's built-in scoring.

Does the AI lead qualifier explain its scores?

Yes. Each score comes with a reason, so a rep can check it against the lead. If the team disagrees, edit the ICP in the knowledge base. The agent reads the updated knowledge base the next time it scores a lead.

How accurate is AI lead scoring?

No accuracy figure applies here. The score is only as good as the ICP you write and the facts available on the web about each company. Read the reason with each score and correct the ICP where it misses. Your team still decides which leads to contact.

What is the difference between the lead qualifier and the AI SDR?

The lead qualifier scores leads from your CRM or from lists against your ICP and gives the reason. The AI SDR works on a new inbound lead: it researches the company, drafts a reply and waits for sales to approve it. Use the lead qualifier to rank leads. Use the AI SDR to prepare the answer.

Can I use the lead finder and lead qualifier together?

Yes. The lead finder returns a list of companies. Send the list to HubSpot or Salesforce and the lead qualifier reads it there, or upload it to the lead qualifier in the chat. Either way it scores each company against your ICP and says why. They are two separate agents.
