About
Commt is a platform for building AI agents from a dashboard, with the option to ground them in your own knowledge bases through retrieval-augmented generation, or run them on a model alone.
Commt exists to give an AI agent a hard boundary: it reaches only the knowledge bases you bind to it and the tools and connectors you scope to it, never your whole business and never the open web, since no web-browsing or web-search tool exists on the platform. That boundary comes first. The second is cost: each plan is built around a fixed monthly request allowance, with an agent designed to stop rather than run past it, not a metered bill that arrives after the fact.
The model behind an agent should be a choice, not a commitment. Commt's direction is to keep expanding which models and capabilities sit behind one dashboard and one integration, so switching a model, or adding a capability later, does not mean rebuilding the agent around it.
At launch, the goal is for a team without a dedicated AI engineer to upload documents, build an agent, and call it from their product in one sitting, inside a request limit they set per project.
Commt continues to develop after launch. The direction is broader support for what a knowledge base can hold, more places to put a finished agent in front of users, and more that an agent can do once it's already running in your product.
That's Commt: an agent that reaches only what you allow. It runs inside a monthly request allowance, not a bill you find out about later.
